Shanelle Armas

Shanelle Armas serves as the Hospital Operations Manager at Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center, bringing more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations, leadership, and team development. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about building strong teams, developing leaders, improving operations, and creating environments where both employees and those they serve can thrive.

Shanelle is especially passionate about the people behind healthcare. She believes that when a team feels supported, valued, and empowered, they are better able to provide the compassionate, high-quality care that patients and their families deserve. At ECVMC, she is proud to support the hospital's growing team and its commitment to providing exceptional emergency and specialty care to the Wilmington community and surrounding areas.

After spending much of her career in healthcare leadership, Shanelle was excited to bring her experience to veterinary medicine and make Wilmington her home. She relocated to the area because of her love for the beach and coastal lifestyle.

Outside of work, Shanelle enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the area, relaxing at the beach, reading, and cooking. She is also a proud pet mom to her fur baby, Bella, a lab who keeps her well aware of just how special the bond between people and their pets can be.
