Dr. Natalie Orner is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina and is ecstatic to be moving home to the coast. She is a true Wolfpack fan, having received both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from NC State. After veterinary school and her internship, she returned to NC State to complete a two-year residency in comparative theriogenology.

Dr. Orner’s passion for theriogenology began with her love for the purpose bred sporthorse and evolved to include canine athletes and our much loved pets. Throughout her residency, she became experienced in the breeding management of the normal and subfertile canine as well as the diagnosis and management of reproductive pathologies and high-risk pregnancies.

In her free time you can find her riding and competing with her personal horses or spending time on the water with her husband and family. Dr. Orner and her husband also enjoy spending time at local restaurants and love all of the variety that the Wilmington area has to offer.
