Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center Logo

Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral is excited to announce a new chapter in our journey. We’re moving, and changing our name to better reflect the full scope of who we are and what we do.

As we’ve grown, so has our impact—not only as a referral hospital, but as an advanced practice in specialty medicine, clinical education, and research. Here’s why our new name, Eastern Carolina Veterinary Medical Center, is the right fit:

  • Expanded Specialty Services

    • We offer a wide range of advanced emergency and specialty care that goes far beyond traditional referrals.

  • A Teaching Hospital

    • We support the next generation of veterinary professionals by regularly training veterinary externs and Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) students.

  • A Research and Innovation Hub

    • We lead and participate in clinical research that helps shape the future of veterinary medicine.

  • A Name That Reflects It All

    • “Veterinary Medical Center” captures the depth, collaboration, and innovation at the core of our mission.

Our name and location may be changing—but our commitment to pets, their families, and our veterinary community remains as strong as ever!
